The short version

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

If you follow an eligible Amazon link and make a qualifying purchase, Digital Derek may earn a commission. It does not add a separate fee to your order. Prices and availability can change, so rely on the current Amazon product page and checkout rather than an older screenshot or a price mentioned in a dated review.

The Amazon Associate sentence appears once before the first group of Amazon links. A product name, displayed ASIN, image, or shortlist action may link to the same exact item when that helps the decision. The site does not repeat “paid link” beside every action. Repeated names stay plain when another link would not help. A card without a verified Amazon identity stays unlinked rather than pointing to a search page or substitute variant.

Every Amazon shopping link points to a verified exact product and includes the Digital Derek Associates tag. Amazon text links identify the item; they do not display a manually copied Amazon price, rating, review, badge, availability message, or listing image.

What the commission does not change

Commission eligibility does not decide which product is researched or tested, whether it works, or what a verdict says. A hands-on recommendation must identify the exact product, include original test evidence, explain the best-fit use case, and name a meaningful limitation.

Some research guides may link to an exact product before a Digital Derek hands-on test. The page's single evidence cue identifies that boundary, while the shortlist explains why the item is included and what could change the position. An affiliate link never turns another publisher's result into a Digital Derek result.

There is no maximum product price for research-stage link eligibility. A higher price or commission rate does not make a product a better choice. Buying a product for a hands-on test remains a separate decision with its own budget and approval.

Some pages will not have a product link because no exact identity is supported, the product solves a different job, or the evidence is too weak. That is intentional. The site monetizes useful purchase decisions—not unsupported mentions or every repeated product name.

When Digital Derek discusses clicks, ordered items, shipped items, commission, or earnings, those statements come from dated Amazon Associates reports—not search volume, rank, estimates, or assumptions. Never purchase through a Digital Derek affiliate link, and do not ask friends or family to do so.
