Match the card to your camera
A familiar card name is not enough: VIOFO recommends MAX Endurance specifically. Start with your camera below.

VIOFO's support guidance names VIOFO cards and SanDisk MAX Endurance. Its FAQ explicitly distinguishes MAX from High Endurance. Some VIOFO models support 512 GB; check yours before selecting that capacity.
The Garmin X310 manual gives its own requirements and links to Garmin's recommended cards. Those specifications apply to the X310, not every Garmin model.
High Endurance vs MAX Endurance: check the exact name
Both SanDisk families are designed for extended video recording. Their limited warranties differ; camera support still comes first.

Recording life is different from footage you can keep
SanDisk's MAX Endurance specification advertises up to 120,000 cumulative recording hours for the 256 GB card under Full HD conditions. That does not mean 120,000 hours fit on the card at once. The manufacturer says the total is lower for 4K, and smaller capacities have different endurance claims.
For the time before old clips are overwritten, use your camera's recording table for the actual resolution and number of channels. Choose a supported capacity that covers your usual drive or parking interval, then save important clips promptly.
Speed is a separate check. The SD Association's speed-class guidance describes sustained recording performance. A fast read-speed headline primarily concerns transfer speed, not camera approval or overwrite endurance.
Choose a supported capacity
For a compatible VIOFO camera, SanDisk MAX Endurance 128 GB is an option when that capacity covers the recording window you need. Choose MAX Endurance 256 GB when the camera supports it and you want more footage retained before loop recording overwrites older files.
These are SDSQQVR-128G-GN6IA and SDSQQVR-256G-GN6IA, respectively. Compare the complete model number at the retailer; capacity and the word “Endurance” alone do not identify the right card.
Finish the setup
If you're replacing a card that reports errors, follow the camera's card-error instructions first. Before checkout, confirm three things: the exact card family, a supported capacity, and the camera's required speed class. After installation, follow its formatting instructions and check that a newly recorded clip plays. Back up important files before formatting.
