The Little Green 1400B suits localized carpet, upholstery and vehicle spots. BISSELL’s current page lists a 48-ounce clean tank and 15-foot cord. Its hose length conflicts within that page: 4 feet in the specifications and 4.5 feet in the description. If reach decides the purchase, confirm the packaged unit’s guide; compare the carrying and storage space separately.

Good Housekeeping included the exact model in its current disclosed portable cleaner test program. Its review supports the model's easy cleaning and carrying role while noting noise and the need to dilute solution correctly. That makes it a practical option for small patches, with the appropriate solution and care instructions for the surface.

Capacity option: Hoover CleanSlate XL FH15000V

Hoover lists a 96-ounce tank capacity, 22-foot cord and five-foot hose for FH15000V. Check the clean- and dirty-water tank capacities separately. The longer cord helps when the outlet is farther from the patch you are cleaning.

The independent evidence is usefully mixed. Consumer Reports' exact-model lab listing reports fair cleaning, good dryness and noise, and very good convenience. Keep all of that evidence together: the CleanSlate XL can be a better physical route without being the strongest cleaning performer in a tested panel.

Choose the CleanSlate XL when tank trips, cord reach, and path width are the repeated problem. Do not use capacity as a substitute for material-safe chemistry and technique.

Steam option: BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam 3618

BISSELL identifies exact model 3618 with steam, wash, and steam-plus-wash modes, a 64-ounce clean tank, 51-ounce dirty tank, 15-foot cord, 4.8-foot hose, and 13-pound weight. Good Housekeeping tested the exact model in its current panel and gives it the strongest role in that review.

The useful reason to pay more is the different cleaning method, not the label. Choose the HydroSteam 3618 when compatible sticky or oily messes repeat and the material permits the documented heat and moisture. A basic spot job that responds to ordinary extraction does not need extra modes.

Choose the cleaning job you repeat

Choose the Little Green 1400B for compact routine spots, the CleanSlate XL when capacity and route are the real constraints, and the HydroSteam 3618 when compatible messes justify steam and multiple modes. Rent a larger machine or use professional care for whole rooms and uncertain materials.

If a cleaner leaves the area wet or the stain rises again, follow the tank, seal, hose, nozzle, technique, and drying checks before buying another machine.

Compare reach before carrying the machine

BISSELL lists a 4.8 ft hose and 15 ft cord for model 3618. Hoover lists a 5 ft hose and 22 ft cord for FH15000V. The longer Hoover cord may matter when outlets are farther apart; the small published hose difference should not substitute for checking the route around furniture.
